Oasis close Live '27 where their 1996 peak happened: four nights at Knebworth House on Saturday 11, Sunday 12, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September 2027. In August 1996 they played two nights there to 250,000 people. The park now holds 125,000 a night, so four shows could put half a million through the gates, past the 375,000 Robbie Williams drew over three nights in 2003. Knebworth is a country estate beside the A1(M), not a stadium, and getting 125,000 people in and out of it is the whole logistics problem of this trip.

London is the realistic base: King's Cross to Stevenage is a fast direct line, and there are only a couple of hundred hotel rooms near the park. The catch is the train back, so choose a bed you can reach after the show rather than one that depends on the last departure.
