Friday at Becketts was one of the best-value tickets I have bought.
Both days were excellent value. Friday had the better seat and view; Saturday had the bigger programme but an uncovered, less dramatic position at Farm Curve. My viagogo purchase was completely smooth, though one trip is not a guarantee for every resale order.
Why Friday won
Becketts was superb. From Row T I could follow the cars through one of Silverstone's defining high-speed sequences, and the covered grandstand made a major difference to comfort. At £53.92, bought the day before, it was outstanding value.
Silverstone's official 2026 explainer listed Friday general admission at £99 and a three-day fixed Farm Curve seat at £459. That puts the last-minute resale price into context without pretending every future weekend will behave the same way.
Saturday at Farm Curve
Farm Curve was still a good day and £154.48 was a strong price for Saturday. The seat was uncovered, though, and the view did not match Becketts. If I had to choose only one of these exact seats again, Friday wins easily.
I did not attend the Sunday race. This is a review of the Friday and Saturday experience only, not a claim about the full three-day weekend.
The easy Oxford strategy
I stayed at home and used the shuttle from Oxford Parkway, paying £16 each day. That kept the full two-day trip under roughly £320 including an estimated food budget.
Silverstone allows spectators to bring food in a bag up to 20 litres, although alcohol is not permitted. Bringing lunch is the obvious way to push this total lower.
