A brilliant spectacle and a weak value proposition.
There was no bad view in our part of Allegiant Stadium and the full WWE week felt huge. But Las Vegas pricing, three event tickets and eight nights turned it into a very expensive trip. WrestleMania 40 delivered better value.
The seats and the show
Our two-day combo was in Section 130, Row 22. The stadium scale was enormous but the production was designed for it, and I never felt we had a worst view. Both nights felt like the centre of the wrestling calendar rather than just two long stadium shows.
Adding SmackDown before and Raw after completed the week, but it also added $508.49 per person before food or transport. It is easy to keep saying yes in Vegas; the receipt shows why that needs a budget.
The hotel and travel choice
Mandalay Bay was a sensible base for Allegiant Stadium and kept the trip rooted at the south end of the Strip. I have used the original eight-night public booking price of $2,440.91, shared by two, so the guide reflects a realistic customer cost.
We walked when practical and spent roughly $200 on rideshare across the week. For two people, that was manageable, but event surges can make short Las Vegas journeys disproportionately expensive.
Who should make this trip
Go if WrestleMania is the reason for the holiday and Las Vegas is part of the appeal. Do not treat the ticket price as the trip price: flights, the room, food and the surrounding shows together cost far more than the main ticket.
If value matters most, compare another WrestleMania host city or shorten the Vegas stay. I loved the event; I would still hesitate before repeating this exact spend.
