When is Creamfields 2027?

Not confirmed yet. The window above — August bank holiday 2027 — is our expectation based on where this event has landed in previous years, not an announced date.

Creamfields has run on the August bank holiday weekend for years and Ticombo sold 2026 festival passes against those dates, but the 2027 dates are not confirmed. Check the official announcement before booking travel.

We’ll email you the day it is official. One message when the date is confirmed, telling you when tickets go on sale and what the room rates did last time. No weekly newsletter, and you can leave in one click.

What it is

The biggest dance festival in the UK, held over the August bank holiday on farmland outside Warrington. Around a dozen stages, most of them enclosed arenas rather than open fields, which is the point -- the production inside the big tents is the reason people come back rather than the line-up, which changes every year and mostly does not need to. It runs Thursday to Sunday with the camping opening a day early.

Tickets

Tickets go on sale the previous autumn and the early-bird tiers are genuinely cheaper, not marketing -- this is one of the few festivals where booking eleven months out saves real money. Go to the official on-sale first: for a festival this far ahead there is no resale market yet, and there will not be one until much closer to the weekend. If you miss it, resale inventory appears from roughly June onwards. Decide camping or not before you buy, because the ticket types differ.

Price watch

Early-bird tiers in the autumn are the cheapest the ticket ever gets. Resale stock appears from about June and softens slightly in the final fortnight if the weather forecast turns.

Compare before you buy: the same seats are routinely 10-20% apart between marketplaces once checkout fees land. Price every one of them, and compare the all-in total at checkout rather than the listing price:

Ticombo

Best for: A global resale marketplace - worth pricing against the bigger two, and often the one still holding seats for European fixtures

Buyer fees are added at checkout, so compare the final total rather than the listing price

P1 Travel

Best for: Official event packages pairing a seat with a hotel, strongest on European F1 and tennis

Prices are per package and shown in the local currency; check what the seat category actually includes

Per person, our own estimates — not live prices, and not a quote. Face value where a sale is running, resale where it is not.

Where to stay

Which part of Warrington you sleep in moves the total more than the seat usually does, and the cheap bed an hour out stops being cheap on the day. The tiers below are what actually works for this building.

On site

Camping, gold or standard

The festival is a camping festival and most of the atmosphere is in the campsite. Gold gets you better showers and a shorter walk, which matters more by Sunday than you expect.

Off site

Warrington hotels

A bed, a shower and a shuttle. Books out early because everyone has the same idea by their second Creamfields.

Make a city weekend

Manchester or Liverpool

Both are inside forty minutes, both have far more hotel stock, and both give you somewhere to recover on the Monday.

Getting there

Make a trip of it

If you are not camping, book the Warrington bed the day the dates are announced. There is not much stock and it goes to people who have made this mistake before.

Thinking bigger than this one?

The same maths runs a lot further than you would expect. A Grand Prix in Las Vegas, a Sunday at the Raiders or WrestleMania weekend costs less than most people assume once the flight is the only unusual line — and we have costed all of them, flights and ESTA included, from real trips rather than research.
