When is Las Vegas GP 2026?

Not confirmed yet. The window above — November 2026 — is our expectation based on where this event has landed in previous years, not an announced date.

Confirm the exact race date and session times against the official F1 calendar before booking — the Vegas race weekend runs Thu-Sat, not the usual Fri-Sun.

We’ll email you the day it is official. One message when the date is confirmed, telling you when tickets go on sale and what the room rates did last time. No weekly newsletter, and you can leave in one click.

What it is

A 6.2 km, 17-corner street circuit running straight down Las Vegas Boulevard past the Sphere, the Venetian and the Wynn. The race runs Saturday night local time, which makes it Sunday morning in the UK — genuinely the most body-clock-friendly flyaway race on the calendar for British fans. The whole week is the event: fan zones and driver appearances run Wednesday through Friday and are the underrated part of the trip.

Tickets

This is the one Grand Prix where waiting has consistently paid. Pricing has fallen a long way from the 2023 opening year, and general admission and lower grandstand seats have repeatedly dipped below face on resale as race week approaches. Hospitality is the exception and holds its value. The bigger decision is not price but geography: your ticket zone and your hotel need to be on the same side of the circuit, because road closures and gated pedestrian bridges make crossing the track a genuine problem.

Price watch

GA and lower grandstands have dipped below face in the fortnight before race week in multiple recent years. Hospitality does not dip.

Compare before you buy: the same seats are routinely 10-20% apart between marketplaces once checkout fees land. Price every one of them, and compare the all-in total at checkout rather than the listing price:

Ticombo

Best for: A global resale marketplace - worth pricing against the bigger two, and often the one still holding seats for European fixtures

Buyer fees are added at checkout, so compare the final total rather than the listing price

P1 Travel

Best for: Official event packages pairing a seat with a hotel, strongest on European F1 and tennis

Prices are per package and shown in the local currency; check what the seat category actually includes

Per person, our own estimates — not live prices, and not a quote. Face value where a sale is running, resale where it is not.

We went to the last one

Nothing here is researched from a press release. These are the same event in previous years, written up from our own bookings — what the seats actually cost, where we stayed, and which parts were not worth it.

Where to stay

Which part of Las Vegas you sleep in moves the total more than the seat usually does, and the cheap bed an hour out stops being cheap on the day. The tiers below are what actually works for this building.

On the track

Venetian / Palazzo or Treasure Island

Inside the circuit perimeter with views over sections of track — premium priced, but you skip the access-gate lottery entirely.

Smart

Westgate or Sahara

Just off the circuit's north end — walkable to gates, and rates stay far saner than the mid-Strip during race week.

Budget

Downtown (Fremont) hotels

Half the price of the Strip in race week; 15-minute rideshare to the north gates before closures tighten.

Getting there

Flying from the UK for Las Vegas GP? Sort the ESTA first

British citizens travel to the US under the Visa Waiver Programme, which means no visa but a mandatory ESTA — an electronic travel authorisation you must hold before you board. Airlines will refuse boarding without one.

Fees and eligibility rules change, and the official site is the only place that is guaranteed current. We take no commission on any of this — there is none to take, which is rather the point.

Make a trip of it

Check the official access map against your hotel BEFORE you book the room, not after. Sphere shows pause for race-week operations — book around it.
