Getting there
- Shannon is the airport that makes this trip easy — 25-30 minutes from the course, direct flights from the UK and US East Coast. Dublin works but commits you to a 2h30 motorway run each way.
- Expect competition days to run on park-and-ride and shuttle systems only — the village of Adare is tiny, on one N21 road, and will be locked down. Build the shuttle time into tee-time plans.
- From Limerick city the N21 run is 20-25 minutes off-peak; event-day shuttles from the city are the likely official route and the sane choice over any private car plan.
- Rail: Limerick is the railhead (from Dublin Heuston ~2h15 with a change at Limerick Junction), then road or shuttle onward.
Where to stay
Shared by every event in this building. Which tier is worth it changes with the event — a fight weekend and a Sunday league game price the same room very differently — but the geography does not.

The volume of beds is here, 25 minutes out, and the city's pubs will be the unofficial fan village all week. Rates will surge — but far less than anything within walking distance of Adare.

Smart triangle: 25-40 minutes to the course, right by the airport for the flight home, and County Clare's evenings are their own reward.

Adare has one street of thatched cottages and a few hundred beds; the Manor's rooms for Ryder Cup week are effectively hospitality-package territory. If money is no object, sleeping inside the ropes is the flex of 2027.
Make a trip of it
The Cliffs of Moher are 90 minutes away and worth a non-golf morning; Bunratty Castle is en route to Shannon. In Limerick, the Milk Market on Saturday and a hurling match if the fixture gods cooperate.
