Getting there

Where to stay

Shared by every event in this building. Which tier is worth it changes with the event — a fight weekend and a Sunday league game price the same room very differently — but the geography does not.

Closest

Zallaq, on the southwest coast

Beach resorts fifteen minutes from the circuit. Quiet, and the shortest run to the gates on race day.

Smart

Manama city centre or Juffair

Where the bars, restaurants and race-week events are. Half an hour out, and far more to do on the non-race evenings.

Budget

Seef or Muharraq

Business-district and airport-side hotels at weekday rates even during race week.

Make a trip of it

Most people fly in Thursday and out Monday and see nothing but the circuit, which is a waste of a short-haul flight. The Bahrain Fort at sunset, the Tree of Life, and a day trip over the causeway are all doable. Ramadan timing moves year to year and changes what is open — check it before booking.
