Getting there

Where to stay

Shared by every event in this building. Which tier is worth it changes with the event — a fight weekend and a Sunday league game price the same room very differently — but the geography does not.

On site

Festival camping at Seaclose

Walking distance to the arena and the only option that avoids a ferry timetable dictating your night.

Island beds

Cowes, Ryde or Sandown

Proper hotels and B&Bs, and the island is genuinely worth seeing in daylight. Books out a year ahead for festival weekend.

Mainland

Portsmouth or Southampton

Cheapest beds, but you are tied to the last ferry every night. Only sensible if you are doing day tickets.

Make a trip of it

It is an island in June -- do not fly in and out for the music alone. The Needles, Osborne House and the beaches at Compton and Shanklin are all short drives, and the week either side of the festival is the cheapest time to see them.
